Hello, hello, hello, this is Who The Fuck Knows with Emily Rose, I'm Emily Rose,  and I want to tell you guys a story.  There's a famous blog called Pop Culture Died in 2009.

If you're a fan of my podcast, you know I've lauded their work and I reference their retellings and analysis of the pop culture princesses like Paris, Lindsay. Misha, all of that, amidst what we thought would be their downfall. The allure of VIP rooms and hotspots like Ladoo, Hyde, and Guy's Bar may have been dwindling, but the hard partying, fame craving party scene was going strong, especially for an 18 year old Alexis Nyers.

In fall 2009, Alexis and her sister, in air quotes because we didn't know this, but they weren't actually sisters or stepsisters or half sisters. We didn't know that yet, but Tess, her sister, were aspiring socialites taking everything that LA had to offer them with vigor. They'd Frat Party. And while they certainly had their issues, they were the life of the party on set.

A fellow young actor and aspiring stand up, Dan Levy, no, not of the Levy, Schitt's Creek, Christopher Guest dynasty family, a different one, saw something in these young women that he thought was magnetic. Granted, he didn't realize what made them so alluring was their emotional irregularity brought on by severe opiate, alcohol, and cocaine addiction.

Though, again, nobody knew that yet. But he definitely saw something. Dan would go on to pitch to the girls and Alexis's real sister, Gabby, along with their mother, Andrea Arlington, for a show called Homeschooling with the Arlingtons. This show would later be retitled Pretty Wild, as it didn't really have as much to do with the eccentric Andrea's You Manifestation based homeschooling curriculum.

As a matter of fact, a decade later on Alexis's Recovering from Reality podcast, Dan would reflect on how odd it was that two 18 and up year olds would still be in school, that they didn't actually live in the home that the crew filmed in, in fact, they lived in a Best Western down the street,  and, oh, That one day into shooting, the very first day, Alexis and Tess would be arrested for being part of a group notoriously coined the Bling Ring.

To quote Dan, they were definitely going to get this pilot picked up.  In this series, I will be recapping episode by episode of the one season wonder, Pretty Wild. As you've just heard, I'll also be referencing the supplemental resources and information I've gathered about the real story behind the reality show.

I highly recommend reading Alexis book, Recovering from Reality, as well as listening to at least the first two episodes of her podcast of the same name, released in 2019. Eventually, I'll be deep diving into who Alexis is, her addiction journey, as well as her most recent, uh, re flirtation with fame, and how that has dramatically shaped the public perspective of her from 2019 to now.

Many of the episodes are available in full on YouTube, but you can also purchase them on Apple TV or stream on HeyU for my, uh, Canadian girlies. Also, this is a trigger warning for everything from SA, DV, drug use, basically if it's something really shitty that can happen to a woman, uh, it happened to them.

So just, again, trigger warning for this whole series. These things will be coming up. And okay. Well, if you're not quite feeling like getting pretty wild, my only advice would be to pause, clear your head, take a deep breath, and say to yourself, and so it is. For these sisters, L. A. is their playground. But when you raise hell in the city of angels That was my biggest dream!

Sometimes there's the devil to pay. These are the consequences of hanging out with stupid people. And for this former wild child, payback They're horrible! Is, uh, well, you know. I am getting back exactly what I dished out. Except in threes. What are you doing? Are you out of control? Oh my god. Pretty Wild.

Series premiere Sunday at 10. 30. Only on E!  Season one, only season,  episode one of Pretty Wild is titled The Arrest.  The Google episode description says, Sexy sisters Tess and Alexis land a huge modeling gig, but a knock on their door early one morning will change the life of one sister forever.  Okay, so before we get into this episode, let me give you guys some context that the episode does not necessarily provide.

Um, So, as I mentioned, the family is Andrea Arlington, not her real name, her real, her actual real last name is Hubert, I think. And it's interesting because when you try to find her Playboy pictures, they're very difficult to find. I've only ever been able to find like a sample. of her in like Japan's Playboy, but, or, or maybe it was South America's Playboy.

She didn't do Playboy here in the States the way that she tries to make it seem in the opening episode. So maybe not as, maybe not as influential as she wants everybody to believe, but okay.  You have Andrea. She is married to a guy named Jerry Dunn. They, the girls refer to him as dad. That's not their dad.

Alexis dad is Mikkel Nyers. Alexis Nyers. And he was, I believe, the DP, Director of Photography, for Friends for a couple of seasons. Again, he was not the DP for the entire series, but that's kind of how they try to make it seem later on. That's So, they call Jerry dad in the series. I'm not totally sure that Alexis mentions that she did that forever.

I don't know if that was just for the show, but  I'll fact check that in later episodes. Right now, I'm just trying to give you guys a feel for it. So, you've got Alexis and Gabby. They are Mikkel Nair's biological children living with Andrea and Jerry. And then you have Tess. Tess was informally adopted by Andrea when they were preteens.

Uh, according to Andrea, Tess's mom was a drug addict, completely out of control. They were best friends, Andrea and Tess's mom. And so Tess came to live with Andrea and because she and Alexis were so close, they started referring to themselves as sisters. They would also, when they started going on modeling gigs,  Market themselves as twins, which is silly, very silly of them.

So right off the bat, just to get all that kind of stuff cleared up, that is the actual dynamic. So what we're being shown is not  complete reality. But we open up with Andrea on this kind of monologue about how hard it is taking care of the three girls and they're wild. Meanwhile, I just want to say this too.

Again, off the bat,  Andrea is not sober. So the way that they kind of characterize her as like, just this, like, just overwhelmed mom, just trying to like, it's some of this shit was a disaster of her own making. I just want to be really clear about that. If that's not clear, if you're watching Pretty Wild for the first time, I think it's probably pretty obvious, like the stage mom vibes, the Kris Jenner wannabe  vibes that she gives off, I think are pretty, pretty easy to dissect.

So one of the more iconic things that happens in this first, like, 60 seconds of the show is Andrea saying, I've had the girls evaluated and they now take Adderall.  Girls, it's time for your Adderall!  Girls, it's time for your  Adderall! Very famous little clip there. So the girls come down, this is our introduction to Tess, Gabby, and Alexis.

Each girl comes down, one by one, to pot pills.  Now, this is not shaming the use of Adderall, people are prescribed Adderall. I am, I understand, I think knowing now that they were all suffering from a pretty severe condition. So, um, yeah.  Addiction problem is interesting. For those of you who don't know, Adderall is a stimulant and they were mixing these that they were prescribed with Xanax, Oxycontin, or Oxycodone,  all kinds of other things, alcohol.

that you're not, you're not supposed to mix Adderall with. So it's interesting to know that they felt comfortable on camera sharing the prescription, obviously, but behind the scenes, they were mixing these Adderall with some pretty intense things. At one point during the season,  Alexis on the way to court, I believe says to her mom, can I have a five milligram Adderall to calm down?

And I'm like, babe,  that's not going to help you. That's not going to help you. But of course we, I, I think also.  In reality television, we've gotten really comfortable with saying that people are on Adderall, but this was kind of groundbreaking. I don't remember a show really referencing Adderall this way.

Not one of these lifestyle shows, lifestyle reality.  And now, when you watch Bravo, you hear of like Craig Conover, Stassi Schroeder, people like that who have admitted openly to having an Adderall problem. But the other various drugs that they were allegedly definitely doing never get brought up, so  I just thought that was funny.

So the first person that we are introduced to is Tess. Tess Taylor also, not her. Her name is not Tess Taylor, but that's neither here nor there.  She is introduced as the wild child who gets everything that she wants, and she's a print model, which is true. The, they were all doing some form of modeling via Model Mayhem.

Now, I don't know if you guys know,  I don't know if anybody listening is familiar with the structure of Model Mayhem. I, unfortunately, also had a Model Mayhem profile, thank God. I never, well, maybe there was one time, but other than the one time, I never went out on a model mayhem call. It's pretty scammy.

There were some legit things, but  mostly it was like farming for nudes and farming for young women to come to places that they had no business being and get them in a state of undress and sometimes with alcohol. I mean, it's very common. I'm not saying it happened every time, but that is what model mayhem is kind of known for.

Even though they marketed themselves as like a modeling networking site, but it often ended up in these really, god, these low quality, like, there's always like a  plane, you know, planes. Like, hills, valleys, plains, you know, plains. Feels like there's always like a random plain wheat stalk. And then, like, nudity.

Every time. Every time.  But I digress. So we get introduced to Tess. She is a print model. She was the Playboy Cyber Girl of 2009, I believe. So she was really trying to edge her way into that Playboy persona, into that.  And Alexis would say,  she has said several times that she was, Alexis was very disturbed by Tessa's desire.

She really wanted to like get on Girls Next Door. She wanted to be the next Holly, Bridget, and Kendra. So that is where Tessa's head is at. Then comes down Alexis.  Andrea refers to Alexis as the middle child who loves attention. Meanwhile, while these each girl is being introduced, there's a little montage of them doing wild and crazy things.

You know, getting on a stripper pole, modeling, spreading their you know, all kinds all kinds of  And Alexis just really loves attention, and Alexis says, you know, she's always wanted to pursue  a career in the modeling industry, and she's just really passionate about  pursuing that career. She loves fashion, I believe she says.

And again, Alexis was on a similar Trajectory is Tess, in that neither of them were really runway models, but they were very pretty, they were doing print, they were doing  some, it just, I think that she would refer to it as high fashion at the time, but I can't. In this moment, when I look at the clothes, though that was all of 2010, to be fair, it's not really her fault.

Finally, Gabby gets introduced as the youngest and most responsible one. So you see Gabby kind of arguing with Alexis, telling her what to do, trying to keep them on track. She says something to Andrea like, the girls have been gone for days and what are you going to do about it? And Andrea says in her confessional, That she  feels like Gabi always tries to say that she doesn't hold the girls accountable.

And Andrea says, because I don't. And she doesn't. She doesn't really hold the girls accountable.  Again, at this time,  Tess and Alexis are quote unquote coming home. Each night to this apartment that Andrea lives in  and they're not living there. They live in a Best Western down the street. Okay, I don't want to ruin everything for you guys this first episode, but it is important to note that it's kind of silly.

That we're even entertaining this, Oh, well, does it, you know, Andrea's holding them accountable, like, No, they were missing, probably. Like, they were straight up not there. So, that's, that's kind of the archetypes of the girls. You got the crazy one, Tess, the middle one who just needs attention, and then the young one trying to keep it all together.

That is the establishment that we have of the three girls. Then Andrea goes on to talk about Jerry. The chyron does say stepfather, so the show at least tries to establish that that's their stepdad.  And Andrea says that he is their rock that keeps the family together. And then we get this scene of them, the women, all in the kitchen.

Holding hands, saying, and so it is, which is the way that they end all of their manifestation chants, if you will.  Speaking of which, we transition to, with a transition scene very reminiscent of Vanderpump Rules, but this was 2010, so this was before its time. We transition to Andrea explaining that she homeschools the girls.

She homeschools them. Remember, this show was going to be called Homeschooling with the Arlington's.  She homeschools the girls, and she bases the entire curriculum.  On the movie, The Secret. If you guys are not familiar with The Secret, The Secret is kind of, it's a, it's like self help, but it's also like a pseudoscience.

It's a book primarily that teaches you how to, it's the law of attraction. How do you attract positive things in your life? Now, Alexis, everybody would go on to say  completely never been refuted. So I guess I have to believe it.  That before they got this show,  that they manifested it down to the specific amount of money that they would get for doing the show.

That they would have an opportunity that would come up and it would make them this amount of money. and give them fame and they manifested this and that is exactly what they got paid for that first season for the season of pretty wild so they believe in this and hindria though i just think it's funny for her to say that like she bases the curriculum on the movie rather than like the entire Doctrine of the Secret.

So, she starts getting the girls together, they're coming down to sit on a bed. And, by the way,  Alexis really was homeschooled. And I believe Gabby was also homeschooled. Tess went to public school. But the only one who is actually of schooling age is Gabby. So Andrea starts saying, Where's Tess? Did she not come home last night?

And then you see Tess walk in the door. She's clearly hungover. You know, she's, and it's funny because they're posing themselves as they're still in school. And Andrea says, you know, your straw house is gonna be blown down like the Three Little Pigs because you're out partying all night. And I'm like, if they're supposed to be in high school, that's interesting.

That should raise an alarm. I don't know. Whatever. So, then Andri goes into kind of some foreshadowing that they're going to talk about character development and how the people that you surround yourself with have an influence on you to the point where you become an amalgamation of the people that you surround yourself with.

So they're going to make vision boards of the people that they want to be and why. Okay. Like Angelina Jolie. So what are some qualities you admire about Angelina Jolie?  Her husband.  Okay. Her hot bod.  Okay, the bod is not a characteristic. How long do we have to do this for? Totally acing this lesson in character development, as you guys can see.

Alright, so we move on to Beata Lingerie studio headquarters, where Tess and Alexis are taking a meeting. Okay.  Now I want to take this time to shout out the Alexis Nyers subreddit, Alexis Haynes subreddit. I have gotten a lot of Um, information and just theories and speculation and everything from that subreddit.

So shout out to the subreddit. I told them I would be doing this project. So thank you all for your help. I do need to debunk something though, because I believe there was a post claiming that the two women who interviewed Alexis and Tess. For the Beata Intimates collection were actually the producers, the television, the reality producers as seen in the Ringbling documentary that came out in 2022.

And I did some fact checking. It doesn't look like it is. Maybe one of them. It looks like maybe one of them. Was actually a producer, but I don't think that they both were. So I'm, I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I'm pretty sure these now, I don't know that they had anything to do with beyond a lingerie to be fair, but I don't think that they were the producers.

So that was a rumor that I wanted to squash. Anyway, the girls sit down and they both introduce themselves. Andrea takes a moment to say, and I'm Andrea, mother of these two, and actually a former lingerie model. My And I was like, God, that's fucking so embarrassing. So, this is gonna be a line that is premiering during LA Fashion Week.

It's a huge deal to the girls. So, they take a meeting with these women and they get their measurements taken. It's this big thing we hear that Tess's measurements are like, Okay. Okay. You know, 24, 34, 24, whatever the ideal, or no, that couldn't be right. 34, 24, 34. Basically the ideal measurements, uh, for,  you know,  the times.

For the 2010 standard of beauty in the media. So, yeah, they look great, they're taking the pictures. Andrea is Mean Girls momming it up so hard, like if Mean Girls didn't come out in 2004, 2003, I would really think that  Amy Poehler had based her character, Mrs. George, on Andrea. The way that she is acting through this shoot is very cringe, these are very young girls in very tacky lingerie.

On, like, you got Alexis, like, laying up on the stairs. It's, it's, honestly, I'm trying to keep a sense of humor about it. It's,  it's a wild thing to watch. But, hey, they were living their best lives. This is such a huge opportunity. They come back to the office and Beata offers them A role in the LA Fashion Week, a contract contingent upon upholding the brand, which again is some foreshadowing.

As long as they can, like, have the integrity of Beata Intimates, this really sketchy fucking lingerie studio where grown ass men are taking pictures of 18, freshly 18 year old girls in underwear, that's the integrity they have to hold up. And by the way,  I don't want to spoil too much, but this is not the last time we'll see Beata as a company of interest in this saga.

So they get offered the contract, they're so excited, and Andrea starts crying, and then we move on to a scene of Tess and Alexis and Paulina Gretzky getting ready to go out  with Mickey Avalon and his tour manager. Mickey Avalon.  Was this controversial punk rapper type figure? White guy. He was 34, I believe, when this was happening around then.

Again, I just, I don't want to harp on it too much. They were,  these are 18 year old girls. Okay. So Mickey Avalon, yeah, he was best known for having like really violent lyrics for like shock value. According to him, it was just like part of the bit, part of the gig. I was never into Mickey Avalon. I remember the name, but I don't, even though I would, you know, I had some  questionable music taste from time to time.

I don't remember ever being a big fan, but that's kind of who he was and  he's got this new song coming out called Rock Bitch and Tess is dying to be the lead girl. So we follow them to this meeting, this dinner meeting, and then.  Mickey's manager says, Well, I think one of the girls should be in the video.

We've already established that there's kind of a competition dynamic between Tess and Alexis. And I think that was true in real life as well. They were competitive with each other. They were, I mean, they were marketing themselves as twins for God's sake. They were going after the same kind of shit. And then  Alexis says, It says in the song, sliding down from heaven on a stripper pole.

And I was like, Well, that's totally me. And Alexa says she will fight to the death to get that role. We never find out who got the role, however. We cut over to Andrea, who is frantically calling them, saying, I told you guys to call me by midnight. Not really relevant, except that we know that that wasn't a real rule.

And then It happens.  Andrea's woken up by the sounds of banging on the door. She goes to the door, opens it, and the police are there. They're there to raid the house because Alexis had some things from a, quote, old friend from high school had stolen. Now, again, Nick Prugo, who is who Andrea is referring to, did not go to high school with Alexis or Gabby, but he was a good friend of Tessa's.

At this point, we now know they are getting arrested now.  Here's the, according to Alexis, this is what actually happened. I'm going to quote from her book.  Finally, our first night of shooting arrived. The producers wanted to film us partying with the rapper Mickey Avalon, who was one of the first music acts discovered through Myspace.

Mickey was famous for his heroin and crack use, so once the cameras were off, we were all partying. We did Xanax and heroin all night. Finally arriving home, just as the sun was coming up.  She goes on to say, I took another Xanax before passing out in my bed the minute my head hit the pillow. I was both exhausted and excited from the shoot and everything that was beginning to happen in our lives.

Less than an hour later, I heard the banging on our front door. I thought I was dreaming. Really, it was just the beginning of my nightmare. My mom answered the door as police swarmed our house like a SWAT team. I woke up and realized what was happening, naively thinking that maybe they were finally responding to my call from months earlier, but within minutes, I was standing there in shock, holding a search warrant while they ransacked our home.

My mom was screaming, What are you doing? What are you doing to us? I was so high from the Xanax I just took, I felt like I couldn't move. I was a spectator. I wasn't there.  She goes on to explain her arrest. Now, just so you all know, And we'll get into this in much more detail at another time, but Alexis, a couple of months ago, when they found the ring cam footage from Rachel Bilson's home, and they made that public, like the police  made it public on the internet, on the internet, she called the police and gave them a tip.

That it was Nick, like, Alexis called the police and tipped off Nick Prugo, who, when he got caught, ratted her out. So, we'll get into the nitty gritty of the bling ring at another time, but that's what she's talking about. She goes on to talk about being arrested, the interrogation, which is a whole other can of worms that I'm not going to open today.

But once she gets home, she was arrested, she was released, once she gets home, she says, As soon as I get home, I went back to bed. Our show producer, Dan, had already called us. He and the other producer were shocked, but also thrilled by the news. After all, this was good TV. They wanted to re film me being arrested.

So the day After cops burst into my home, ransacked all my belongings, and led me away in handcuffs, we did it all again, but with actors, lights, and cameras rolling. Talk about being re traumatized. Of course we went along with it. I was now facing burglary charges. We believed that the show could save us, and we weren't wrong.

With us all over the news, the pilot got picked up by E, who ordered an entire first season.  So that is the story of the arrest. Just a little bit of background info. That is how it actually went down. So while they did not actually catch the arrest on camera, producers were gearing up to film, they were going to film that day, but they just hadn't set up completely yet.

So after it all happened, they ended up refilming it the very next day. According to everybody involved, it was a play by play retelling of the arrest. So,  so we see this scene of her quote unquote getting arrested. I believe that the scenes of them, Andrea and Gabby and Jerry in the car going to get her, I believe that those were.

real. I, I can't be a hundred percent sure. I want to believe that those are real. So I'm going to tell myself and all of you allegedly those were real  of them in the car, Andrea finding out that Alexis waved her right to an attorney, which she did wave her right to an attorney for what reason we don't know.

Uh, she still doesn't know. She says she was kind of blacked out when the whole thing went down again. We'll get into that later. And then we get this scene of Tess. I'm sorry, Allegedly, in my opinion, tweaking out because she's like rubbing her chin. She's like greeting Gabby on the sidewalk and Gabby's like, What can I do?

There's what can we do to get her out? And Tess goes, there's nothing you can do. It's completely out of your control.  And it just Like, it's not funny, but it's kind of like, I mean, Tessa's right, though. There isn't anything that you guys can do. It is completely out of your control, and the contrast of, like, Gabi's, like, high energy, high anxiety, with Tessa's, like, stoic, like, just, like, rubbing on her chin, like, gla sunglasses.

Cause, by the way, Both of these women also robbed a home or two. So, at this point, just seeing them deal with their, with the reality that like Alexis is the one that's arrested is, is pretty, it's pretty crazy to watch. And then we see a scene of Alexis finally getting out, and they like squeal, and it is very inappropriate the way that they're acting, and there were paparazzi there asking, you know, um,  What, you know, what's going on and I think the way that the producers want us to see this is that like Alexis loves it.

Like she loves the attention, right?  I don't think it went exactly like that. I do, when I watch like Hollywood X. com videos, like the other TMZs from the time of how these girls responded to the press, it was, you know,  Tess really,  Tess's  charisma, maybe, is a little more  eye catching to me when I watch them on camera.

But the girls get in the car and, and they go home. Sisters release, they go home.  The next scene is the family getting together in the living room. Trying to comfort Alexis, reflecting on their decisions, Alexis says in a confessional she's very emotional. She says she really feels very sorry for the people that she violated for stealing their belongings.

She knows that they would feel violated and so would she. And when they're sitting on the couch, she says, I'm just really realizing that, like, It's about the people that you surround yourselves with and then Andrea goes What have I been telling you girls since you were little and in not unison Markedly, they were not in unison the girls say Never do anything that you don't want on the front page of the LA Times And then they have a family hug Um, we now transition to watching Alexis get a phone call from Amy of Beata Intimates.

And she's basically calling to tell her, you didn't uphold the, the image. You didn't uphold the Beata image, which I'm laughing because it is laughable that this like lingerie, especially now in 2024, that a lingerie company would be so scandalized by, I mean, it was a pretty big deal. So the bling ring.

The burglar bunch. They were burglars. It was a huge news, but I just don't know that this would go down exactly this way, and obviously some of it staged, but Alexis gets the phone call, finds out she won't be walking for Beata, and gets very upset. She's crying, she goes,  This is my biggest dream! And Andrea, and I think the whole audience goes, Are you kidding?

You know, it's kind of, it's sad because you know that  she really is disappointed that she lost this job.  Beata Intimates is not, can't be your biggest dream, baby. This, this show is your biggest dream. Y'all manifested this. The, the Beata Intimates thing is not your biggest dream, but Andrea tries to comfort her.

Tess is kind of just staring blankly like she can't believe what's going on and Alexis is really having to come to terms with the consequences of, of the arrest. But something I have to point out,  Alexis says,  She's very blubbery. She says, Tess still gets to walk in the fucking show. This is bullshit.

Because,  Tess, of course,  allegedly  was involved in more of the robberies than Alexis. Now, Alexis maintains a lot of different, uh, perspectives on her story, but that she was only involved in one. Now, Tess It apparently has been debated whether that's true. We now know at the time she said it was just her, now we know it was Gabi.

We, I think we all pretty much knew that Tess was, was involved to some extent.  So this is a real moment of her kind of being really fucking upset that She's the only one in trouble when everybody else in this house had something to do with it, except for maybe Jerry, you know. And I don't think Andrea robbed anybody's house, but, you know, she could have I think there's some steps she could have taken many years ago that maybe would have prevented this kind of, uh, highly emotional situation, but I digress.

Moving on, we Cut kind of  it's like a jarring contrast because now we get Tess who's kind of like, okay Well, I'm here at LA Fashion Week for Beata Intimates And I'm so excited and I'm so nervous and I just really hope that my sister is here to cheer me on So we get this classic, you know, if you guys ever watched well any reality show but especially like Keeping Up with the Kardashians where Kendall's like getting ready in the back and Tess,  I don't know if this is on purpose, and I can't remember how I perceived it when I first watched it.

I think I was probably pretty happy for Tess, and I mean, I still am,  but there is kind of  a marked difference in like,  It's almost like they're trying to say, like, because Tess didn't make bad decisions, she gets to do this thing, and her attitude is very nonchalant. I don't know if that's an editing choice, I don't know if that's just how I perceive it now, but it's very interesting to see her  like this, and then she, of course, walks in the show.

And she's like, I was walking down the runway and I heard my mom and I could have sworn I saw my sister and it was her and I was so excited. So Alexis showed up to cheer her sister on, even though she was bummed out, you know, that she couldn't walk in the show and her behavior is, is strange for someone who was just arrested for a huge burglary, but whatever.

She seems to be having a good time. She's there to support her sister and. She stands on it. And the final scene, another family scene, kind of like how the Kardashians, and this was pitched as like a hippie Kardashian show. I don't know what hippie really means to them. That's the wording that Alexis uses  when she talks about how the show was pitched at the time, but you see a lot of these family scenes amidst like  Very unstable family situations.

So everyone's kind of like sitting around the fire. They are reiterating the lessons that they've learned. This has been the hardest week of their lives, says Andrea. And they're saying, you know, next time it's gonna be me and you test in New York Fashion Week.
